Release channels & updates
The desktop app can check for updates online; installers are distributed by Mystilink.
Channels
| Channel | Installer | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Stable | Public on the download page; no sign-in required to download | Everyday use (recommended) |
| Beta | May require a valid license | Users who want early features |
Internal test channels are not open to the public. Use Stable by default; follow the steps below to join Beta.
Switching to Beta
- Ensure you have purchased and have a valid activation key in the dashboard.
- Open desktop Settings, then General or About / Updates (wording may vary by version).
- Set Update channel to Beta, save, then Check for updates and install when prompted.
- If Beta is not listed, it is not available for your account or version yet—stay on Stable.
